The Museum offers a diverse selection of dining experiences, with artfully prepared dishes for all tastes and budgets. From fine dining to a family-friendly cafeteria, visitors can find the right venue to suit the moment.

Opening July 10, the MFA’s newest dining venue features executive chef Brian Flagg’s seasonal menu emphasizing fresh local ingredients, with an environmentally friendly and innovative root-to-stalk approach. The restaurant offers a comfortable space for socializing amid world-class art, whether for cocktails or mocktails, a multi-course meal, or a quick bite and discussion before or after a film, lecture, or program. Originally designed by I. M. Pei, the space has been renovated and redesigned by architectural design firm Bergmeyer, its modern venue showcasing six still lifes from the MFA’s collection. Enjoy summer concerts from the patio or a special occasion meal with the whole family; 465’s unique offerings and experiences are endless.

New American Café

Enjoy tableside service in the MFA’s soaring glass-enclosed courtyard. New American Café boasts a menu that features creative regional dishes from the Americas that are prepared with fresh, local ingredients. Choose from a wide selection of hot and cold small plates, entrées, and salads, with beverages that include North and South American wines and craft beers. The restaurant was selected as one of the best museum restaurants in the US by Food & Wine in January 2014.

Visitors in Taste

Stop by this café and wine bar for lighter fare in a lively setting. Choose from handcrafted sandwiches, specialty salads, signature desserts, and a variety of beverages, from gourmet coffee and tea to craft beer and selected wines. Get a snack at Taste before a film or talk in nearby Remis Auditorium; all items sold at Taste are acceptable to bring into Remis Auditorium for all programs.

Garden Cafeteria
