Wicked Queer: Boston’s LGBTQ+ Film Festival

Celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2024, Wicked Queer continues to exhibit bold, compelling films that demonstrate the variety and depth of the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender community. This year’s festival takes place throughout Boston, with three feature films screening at the MFA.

Produced by and starring Elliot Page, Close to You is an emotionally observant drama about coming home as yourself, only for everyone to treat you like a completely different person. In Queen Tut, a teenager moves from Cairo to Toronto and becomes immersed in his new home’s underground queer nightlife. And Mad About the Boy: The Noel Coward Story explores the expansive career across the stage and screen of the 20th century’s most successful multitalented artist.
