The Boston Israeli Film Festival

Celebrating its fifth year, the Boston Israeli Film Festival presents the very best in Israeli cinema, from thoughtful documentaries to moving narrative films.

This year’s festival runs from March 19-23 in person and virtually from March 26-29. Our two MFA programs include The Artist’s Daughter, Oil on Canvas, Margarita Linton’s searching documentary study of her estranged father, a renowned painter, preceded by the fiction shorts Killing Ourselves and Deep Water. The second program features Michal Vinik’s Valeria is Getting Married,  fiction feature about arranged marriages and power dynamics in love relationships, and is preceded by the short film Flora.

See the full schedule of online and in-person screenings in this year’s festival.
