MFA Boston to Reopen February 3

BOSTON (January 26, 2021)—The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston (MFA), will reopen on Wednesday, February 3, in alignment with the City of Boston’s return to Step One of Phase Three of the Reopening Massachusetts plan. In addition to following previously introduced safety policies and procedures—including advance timed-entry tickets and a mask requirement for all visitors—the Museum will operate at the limited 25 percent capacity currently mandated by the state. February tickets will become available on mfa.org/visit on:

  • January 27, 10 am: early access for ticket holders with canceled December 2020 tickets
  • January 28, 12 pm: MFA members
  • January 29, 10 am: general public

“Museums are places of shared experience, and we’re pleased to once again open our doors so that Bostonians can connect with art and with each other,” said Matthew Teitelbaum, Ann and Graham Gund Director. “We continue to support the administration in efforts to keep our communities safe, and we remain committed to the highest standards of safety we can offer our visitors.”
