Class Description

Masks

Wood, feathers, shells, and metal are just a few materials used to create some of the masks in the Museum’s collections. Take a close look at some of the different types while discovering why and how each one was made and how it might have been used. Then create your own masks and mask-related artwork in the studio using a variety of techniques and materials such as paper, fabric, and plaster.

Instructors: Paige Levine and Katie Stack
