Presented at the Copley Society of Art on Newbury Street, this exhibition features work by MFA staff who explore the idea of perspectives through a variety of media including painting, photography, textiles, works on paper, and mixed media. The artworks on view, created by staff from 13 departments across five divisions at the MFA, represent those who walk the Museum walls beyond the galleries and whose diverse and creative points of view shape every aspect of the Museum. Three jurors curated the exhibition: Max Stern, artist and board of governors member, Copley Society of Art; Brian Boyles, executive director, Mass Humanities; and Dinorá Justice, 2023 School of Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University traveling fellow whose exhibition, “Dinorá Justice: The Lay of the Land,” is on view at the MFA through April 14, 2024. The exhibition highlights the talent and knowledge of artists with a unique connection to arts and culture, having long witnessed, taken care of, and appreciated work in the MFA’s collection.
