Take a closer look at some exemplary paintings, sculptures, furniture, jewelry, clothing, and household items associated with women’s lives in Renaissance Italy. Through an analysis of key life cycle events—among them marriage, childbirth, and death—and their related objects, we can better understand how women lived, and what they lived with, during this period.
