Travel through the past, discovering lush Dutch still life’s, Renaissance portraits of gilded icons and vast landscapes from artists such as Winslow Homer. Experiment with composition and transform ordinary objects in the studio into original paintings, collages and sculptures.

Supplies will be provided.

About the Instructor

Sarah Pollman is an artist, educator and writer working in Boston, MA. She holds a BFA and an MFA in Studio Art from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and Tufts University. Her work has been exhibited nationally, including shows at the Danforth Art Museum, the Rourke Art Museum, and Wheaton College. She currently teaches at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston at Tufts University and at Emerson College. At the Museum of Fine Arts, she works as a Studio Art and Artful Adventures instructor.
