Learn fundamental skills of painting to explore color and composition. Work from still life objects in the studio and visit the galleries to view different painting styles and techniques.

About the Instructor

Jeff Ellse is a Boston based artist whose current work explores everyday objects that sustain and perpetuate modernity. He received his MFA from The Art Institute of Boston in 2009 and BFA 2006. He shows locally has been featured in the Boston Globe, Boston Phoenix, and Artscope. Ellse is also an adjunct professor of Drawing and Painting at the Art Institute of Boston.
