Learn how to conceptualize and construct the figure while experimenting with different pencil drawing techniques. Learn the basic concepts of anatomy such as proportion, structure, and features as you investigate expressive differences of sculptures from the MFA collections.

About the Instructor

Tim McCool is a native of Pittsburgh and received his B.A. from Boston College in Studio Art and Art History and his M.F.A. from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston in affiliation with Tufts University. While studying at SMFA, he has exhibited his work in Boston, New York and other cities, and has written about art for various publications internationally.
