On Saturday, June 11, the MFA hosted its 13th annual Summer Party with more than 850 guests. The night began with a Pre-Party in the elegant Koch Gallery for VIPs. The Shapiro Family Courtyard was transformed into an urban oasis for the main event, complete with a starry night sky and exquisite greenery. Guests bid on more than 20 works of art in the silent art auction, and entered to win exciting prizes such as Saint Laurent handbag, a Nantucket getaway, and a stay on a private Caribbean private island. DJ Rich DiMare kept the crowd dancing all night long, and the dessert buffet and late-night snacks were truly spectacular.
The success of this year’s party would not have been possible without the support of the many organizations and individuals that contributed their time and tireless efforts.
