School Group Visits
Inspire students, connect to your curriculum, and provide the opportunity to engage with exceptional works of art in person through a visit to the MFA. Guided and self-guided visits are available for PreK–12 audiences.
Distance Learning Programs
Bring the MFA into your classroom with expanded K–12 Distance Learning Programs. Reserve an individual classroom videoconference program on a date of your choice, or join free livestreamed programs offered throughout the school year.

Free and Discounted Admission
New England K–12 Teachers
New England K–12 teachers in a school, after school, or community setting can receive one discounted general admission ticket for $15. See Tickets for eligibility details.
BPS Sundays
Thanks to a partnership between the MFA and the City of Boston, Boston Public Schools students and up to three family members can visit the MFA for free every first and second Sunday of the month! General admission is redeemable with a valid BPS student ID number, in person at the ticket desk.
Artful Adventures at the MFA
A customized introduction to the MFA and its collections for groups of children from early childhood, after school, nontraditional school settings, special needs programs, and summer camps. Participatory and interactive, programs at the MFA last an hour and a half and include a tour and an art-making activity.
Home School Programs
Specially designed home school programs for children between the ages of 6-18 years that meet on Friday mornings September through June.
