Be inspired by artistic movements such as abstract expressionism and get physical with materials! Loosen up with action-inspired gestural art and move beyond splatter paintings of Jackson Pollock to learn about the key roles artists such as Joan Mitchell played in the movement. Roll up your sleeves to appreciate the wonders of spontaneous mark making and color relationships!
Registering for both a morning and afternoon summer studio art class? Students under the age of 12 are required to enroll in Supervised Lunch, sold separately.
Want your child to stay a little later at the end of the day? Extend your child’s day until 4:45 pm with our supervised Late Pickup, sold separately.
Ticket Information
Registration for February, April, and Summer vacation week classes ends at Noon the Friday before the class starts.

Accessibility
Due to the building’s historic architecture, the third-floor classrooms, 305A, 305B, 305D and 305E, are not wheelchair-accessible and must be accessed by stairs. Please let us know in advance if the student has limited mobility; we can make accommodations, including relocating the class to an accessible space.
