Gain a comprehensive understanding of surrealist art throughout history. Delve into a variety of materials, techniques, and applications that explore exercises in automatism and layering to create unique surrealist compositions.

Registration for February, April, and Summer vacation week classes ends at Noon the Friday before the class starts.

About the Instructor

Katherine Twigg is a licensed educator, interdisciplinary artist, and registered yoga instructor, with a background in human services. Katherine has taught within private and public schools, as well as for local programs and art societies including Printmaking Space at Shady Hill School in Cambridge, Kids Studio Art classes at North River Art Society, and for Creative Arts at Park in Brookline. Katherine’s art is inspired by her travels, spiritual experiences, and the vibrant natural environment, exploring various artforms, from traditional painting, drawing, and sculpture to printmaking, digital collage, jewelry making, and silversmithing.
