Pen and Ink Drawing Two-Day Workshop
12:30 pm–4:30 pm
Explore traditional and experimental approaches to using pen and ink. Learn technical instruction for using a dip pen and watercolor brushes and discover the fluid quality and wonderful effects one can achieve with ink.

Accessibility
Due to the building’s historic architecture, the third-floor classrooms, 305A, 305B, 305D and 305E, are not wheelchair-accessible and must be accessed by stairs. Please let us know in advance if the student has limited mobility; we can make accommodations, including relocating the class to an accessible space.

About the Instructor
Justin Life received an MFA from Tufts University/School of the Museum of Fine Arts (2007) and a BFA in painting from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (2002); he also studied at the Winchester School of Art at Southampton University in England (2002). His shows include Affirming the Hand at the Courtyard Gallery, Museum of Fine Arts, Boston (2005); Boston Young Contemporaries at 808 Gallery (2007); and “Boston Drawing Project 10th Anniversary Show” at Carroll and Sons Gallery, Boston MA (2009). Life also teaches at Tufts University and the Boston Architectural College.
