Explore traditional and experimental approaches to using pen and ink. The first half of the session introduces technical instruction for using a dip pen and watercolor brushes through botanical and animal examples as well as ink drawings from the masters. Then in the second half, discover the fluid quality and wonderful effects one can achieve with ink through personal imagery and self-guided projects with professional guidance.
