Learn fundamental techniques in painting, drawing, and printmaking. Demos, technical guidance, assignments, and visits to the MFA collection prepare students in each discipline. Working in the medium of your choice exploring color, composition, form, and personal imagery.

Registration for February, April, and Summer vacation week classes ends at Noon the Friday before the class starts.

About the Instructor

Justin Life received an MFA from Tufts University/School of the Museum of Fine Arts (2007) and a BFA in painting from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (2002); he also studied at the Winchester School of Art at Southampton University in England (2002). His shows include Affirming the Hand at the Courtyard Gallery, Museum of Fine Arts, Boston (2005); Boston Young Contemporaries at 808 Gallery (2007); and “Boston Drawing Project 10th Anniversary Show” at Carroll and Sons Gallery, Boston MA (2009). Life also teaches at Tufts University and the Boston Architectural College.
