Working in oil, learn the fundamental skills of painting. Color relationships, composition and painting techniques will be emphasized while using personal imagery or a still life as a source of observation.
Class will break for a short lunch.

Registration for February, April, and Summer vacation week classes ends at Noon the Friday before the class starts.

About the Instructor
Samuel Gareginyan is an artist specializing in drawing and painting in acrylic, oils, and watercolor. He graduated from the Academy of Arts in St. Petersburg, Russia and achieved his Master of Arts from Yerevan Institute of Fine Arts and Theater in Armenia in 1991. Samuel's imaginative still lifes and "folkloric" portraits have been exhibited locally and internationally and are in numerous private collections worldwide. Samuel works from his Fenway studio and has taught with the MFA's Studio Art Classes for over ten years.
