Many items in the Museum were originally created to serve a function. Explore artisan goods from different cultures: from Greek vessels to African masks and Egyptian coins. In the studio, use clay to make your own pottery and accessories or create your own board games, kaleidoscopes, or musical instruments!

Please provide a nut-free lunch, snacks, utensils, water bottle, smock and picnic blanket. Supplies are provided.

Registration for February, April, and Summer vacation week classes ends at Noon the Friday before the class starts.

Accessibility

Due to the building’s historic architecture, the third-floor classrooms, 305A, 305B, 305D and 305E, are not wheelchair-accessible and must be accessed by stairs. Please let us know in advance if the student has limited mobility; we can make accommodations, including relocating the class to an accessible space.
