Be inspired by how artists interpret the world around them to create your own still lives, landscapes, and seascapes; create contemporary interpretations of the natural world like Andy Goldsworthy and learn how to draw like biologist Martin Johnson Heade!

Online Studio Art Classes can only be purchased through mfa.org. Unfortunately we cannot process phone orders or in-person sales.

About the Instructor
Eda French holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from Massachusetts College of Art and Design. Born and raised in Portland, Maine, Eda comes from a family of artists; her mother an illustrator and her father a photographer. Eda began working with the Museum of Fine Arts as an intern for Studio Art Classes, became a class assistant, and has transitioned into a lead teacher. Outside of teaching for the MFA, Eda is a practicing illustrator creating colorful and vibrant work in both traditional and digital mediums.
