Hone in your observational skills and painting techniques of the natural world by drawing 'in the field'. In the studio classroom, learn basic illustration and watercolor techniques and then apply these skills while sketching your observations of outdoor parks and urban areas. The instructor will review recommendations for appropriate tools and prepare you to draw and paint wherever your feet take you!

About the Instructor

Kyle Browne is a multi-disciplinary artist exploring drawing, installation, and video, with nature as a strong influence. She received her BFA from the Pratt Institute and a Masters in Education from Lesley University in 2010. Kyle's work has been in many solo and group exhibitions, both locally and internationally, and she has been the recipient of artist residencies from New England to New Zealand. She is often a visiting artist and guest lecturer at colleges and other arts organizations, and has been teaching visual art since 2010.
