Drawing exclusively in the galleries, learn the basic drawing elements—line, texture, shading, and composition—and explore a variety of media. Objects from our collections serve as reference and inspiration.

Registration for February, April, and Summer vacation week classes ends at Noon the Friday before the class starts.

About the Instructor

Karl Stephan holds a Masters in Art Education from the Tufts School of the Museum of Fine Arts. Expert in traditional and contemporary techniques of drawing and other two-dimensional media, Karl is a Medici Artist at Tufts and a well-regarded curator. In addition to his popular museum drawing classes for teens, Karl teaches privately in his Cambridge studio.
