Each week, the class meets at a different pub in the Boston, Somerville, and Cambridge area. Using pencils, ink, and sketchbooks, explore the interior, atmosphere, light, and local pub patrons, while learning basic drawing skills, and enjoying a pint or two. Registered students will be contacted before the first class with meeting location. Students must be 21+.

Adult students are expected to bring their own supplies. Please view our supply list. If your class is not listed, supplies will be provided on the first day and the instructor will review supplies to bring for the following classes.

About the Instructor

Chris E. O’Neill is an artist and illustrator based in Somerville, MA. He is a compulsive draw-er, hardly ever looking up from the page in front of him. He can be found lurking in cafes and bars furiously jotting down the goings-on around him. He has worked for a wide range of clients including Harmonix, Cutty's, and Collective Arts Brewing and has shown his work in a variety of venues in the greater Boston area, most recently a large scale mural at Montserrat College of Art in Beverly. He is super-awkward in real life.
