Go beyond the basics of digital photography to explore your creativity and document your life and the world around you. Students will be introduced to advanced shooting techniques and begin to refine their skills. Topics covered: The Importance of Light, Flash, Black & White, Advanced Color Theory, Shooting at Night, Basic Editing Software for File Management & Processing.

Students taking this course must bring their own digital camera with manual controls. 

Adult students are expected to bring their own supplies: please view our supply lists online here. If your class is not listed, supplies will be provided on the first day and the instructor will review supplies to bring for the following classes.

About the Instructor

Fran Osborn Blaschke is a photographer who graduated from the New England School of Photography professional program. His artistic vision is influenced and inspired by his family, science, astronomy, music, and poetry. His photographs have been shown at various venues in the New England area, including the Photographic Resource Center, the Danforth Museum of Art and the Griffin Museum of Photography.
