This online class offers students an introduction to art-making inspired by the MFA's collection. Explore a variety of hands-on projects, such as painting, printmaking, collage and 3D. Our friendly instructors offer step-by-step support and facilitate fun group discussions through engaging activities - right from your own home!

Online Studio Art Classes can only be purchased through mfa.org. Unfortunately we cannot process phone orders or in-person sales.
Tickets are delivered to the e-mail address that was used to log in when registering for the class. Please check the spam folder if the ticket does not arrive within 30 minutes after registration.
About the Instructor
Eda French holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from Massachusetts College of Art and Design. Born and raised in Portland, Maine, Eda comes from a family of artists; her mother an illustrator and her father a photographer. Eda began working with the Museum of Fine Arts as an intern for Studio Art Classes, became a class assistant, and has transitioned into a lead teacher. Outside of teaching for the MFA, Eda is a practicing illustrator creating colorful and vibrant work in both traditional and digital mediums.
