Experiment with the unique qualities of acrylics as you practice, play, and express yourself through paintings derived from abstraction or your own imagination. Learn to develop expressive painting techniques that explore concepts in composition, color mixing, and application.

About the Instructor

Jeff Ellse is a Boston based artist whose current work explores everyday objects that sustain and perpetuate modernity. He received his MFA from The Art Institute of Boston in 2009 and BFA 2006. He shows locally has been featured in the Boston Globe, Boston Phoenix, and Artscope. Ellse is also an adjunct professor of Drawing and Painting at the Art Institute of Boston.
