Join us to celebrate the release of new albums from RM, aespa, and ATEEZ! Enjoy art making and dancing, then see ensembles worn by your favorite K-pop idols on view in “Hallyu! The Korean Wave.” Included with general admission. Admission is free for University Members with a valid ID from participating colleges and universities.

Art Making: Friendship Bracelets

6–10 pm (last entry 9:45 pm)

Listen to music by RM, aespa, ATEEZ, and others while creating friendship bracelets inspired by your favorite K-pop artists! You can also enter a raffle to win their new albums and the BTS Dynamite LEGO Set!

Photo Booth

Channel your inner K-pop idol and strike a pose in our “Hallyu!” photo booth.

Tours of “Hallyu! The Korean Wave”

Enjoy a special tour of “Hallyu! The Korean Wave” with Christina Yu Yu, exhibition curator and Matsutaro Shoriki Chair, Art of Asia.

K-Pop Random Play Dance

Calderwood Courtyard

Participate in an eclectic celebration of K-pop dance and music throughout the years. Everyone is welcome to join! Hosted by Jamie Wong, dancer and one of the founders of Kosmic, a Boston-based K-pop dance crew.

Contest: Dress as Your Bias

7:30 pm
Shapiro Family Courtyard

Enter our contest dressed as your bias for a chance to win K-pop-themed prizes. Winners are picked by Lily Goode, founder of @kpop_in_mass, and curator Christina Yu Yu. Three winners receive a bag of goodies including face masks, snacks, swag, and more!

Event Policies

Bag Check

All bags are subject to inspection by Museum staff. Backpacks, large bags, and outside food or drink are not permitted. Exceptions will be made for medical or religious needs. Smaller bags are strongly discouraged, and any bags larger than 11” x 15” will need to be checked in the Coat Room upon entry.

Light Sticks and Photo Albums

Show off your K-pop fandom by bringing your own light sticks and photo albums. Photo albums 9 x 12 inches or smaller are allowed.
