Join objects conservators on a trip to the exquisite Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Garden, which incorporates Asian sculptures in a woodland setting. Learn about the conservation of the MFA’s 6th-century Chinese Buddhist stele, originally sited at the top of the Garden’s Spirit Path, and the two-year effort to fabricate a reproduction now on display in the Garden. Travelers also enjoy the charm of the Asticou Inn, just down the road and at the edge of Acadia National Park, overlooking the picturesque waters of Northeast Harbor.
