Betty Cooke is a formative figure in American Modernist studio jewelry whose work is currently being featured in “Women Take the Floor.” Since the 1940s, she has created distinctive geometric designs that she calls “sculpture in motion.” Join Cooke and jewelry curator Emily Stoehrer, as they discuss the jewelry maker’s seven-decade career, her body of work, and her experience as a pioneering woman designer in the middle of the 20th century.
