Class Description

Art, Power and Money

Art has the ability to influence, beautify, and add value—and as such has always been at the center of circles of money and power. We’ll take a look at the artistic elements of currency around the world, explore the processes of art auction houses, and also dive into the issue of forgeries in the art world—trying our hand at making coins, holding a mock art auction, and creating “forged” art of our own.

Instructors: Emily Auchincloss and Issy Bohling

Occurring every Friday
