Directed by David Fincher (USA, 1999, 139 min.). 35mm.
Based on the best-selling novel by Chuck Palahniuk, this cult film phenomenon follows a bored insomniac (Edward Norton) who only feels alive when he’s crashing support group meetings for sufferers of terminal illness. After he meets a strange soap salesman named Tyler Durden (Brad Pitt), our protagonist leaves behind his perfect apartment to live in Tyler’s squalid house and joins his new friend in wreaking havoc on society. Their partnership frays when Marla (Helena Bonham Carter), another support group crasher, comes between them.
