Explore sculpture, mixed media, and painting from the MFA’s Contemporary Art Collection. Contemporary art can be defined as the art of our time. The Museum includes art produced from the second half of the 20th century to the present moment. Made all over the world every day, contemporary art is constantly changing and is as varied as the artists who make it.
