Critically acclaimed musician Ya-Fei Chuang provides a private musical debut of the Museum’s recently acquired Viennese piano, made about 1815 by Johann Peter Fritz. Learn how this rare, beautiful piano from the era of Beethoven and Schubert was brought back to life both musically and visually through the collaboration of skilled restorers who worked on the instrument for two years. Co-organized by Curators Circles: Conservation and Collections and Musical Instruments.
