Gifts of art, or funds to purchase art, ensure that the Museum can continue to tell the story of the world's art. Request more information about how your gift can help the Museum strengthen and broaden its great collection.
There are many ways to make a gift of art to meet your current and future financial and personal goals:
outright gifts allow you to receive a charitable deduction for tax purposes
fractional gifts allow you to keep partial ownership of your work and receive a charitable deduction for tax purposes
bequests allow you to keep your artwork for the remainder of your life while ensuring it will have a proper home after your death and lessening the burden of estate taxes on your heirs
promised gifts allow you to continue to enjoy the use of your work while making a commitment of a future gift to the Museum either during lifetime or through a bequest
By giving a work of art, you are not only joining a long lineage of great benefactors, you are also ensuring that your cherished work will be in the best possible care and enjoyed by the public. Donating art or funds to purchase art also makes you eligible for membership in the Denman Waldo Ross Society.
