The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, is excited to present a new approach to the Museum experience—podcasting. Using the latest technology available, you can download audio tours related to our collections and exhibitions.
Podcasts are radio-style shows delivered over the Internet to your computer. They can be played through your computer; they can also be transferred to your MP3 player or iPod for you to listen to whenever you wish. (For example, you can listen to them while you walk around the Museum looking at the artwork on our walls.)

 Artists at the MFA: Liu Xiaodong "Fresh Ink: Ten Takes on Chinese Tradition" Watch or subscribe to our podcast The MFA commissioned Liu Xiaodong to create a work for inclusion in the 2010 exhibition, "Fresh Ink: Ten Takes on Chinese Tradition." Drama and Desire: Japanese Paintings from the Floating World 1690-1850 Listen or subscribe to our podcast
With the establishment of Edo (modern-day Tokyo) as the major political and commercial center of Japan in the seventeenth century, artists developed a new imagery, known as ukiyo-e. Edward Hopper Listen or subscribe to our podcast
Edward Hopper’s luminous paintings captured classic images of middle-class America and made him one of the most popular artists of the twentieth century. This exhibition focuses on the period of Hopper’s greatest achievements—from about 1925 to mid-century—during which he produced many works now considered icons of American art. Comprising fifty oil paintings, thirty watercolors, and twelve prints, including the favorites Nighthawks, Chop Suey, and Lighthouse and Buildings, Portland Head, Cape Elizabeth, Maine, this exhibition's comprehensive appraisal of Hopper is not to be missed.
